Hey there! My name is Mikayla and I’ve been an artist for as long as I can remember. I still have papers from elementary school where I stated “I want to be an artist when I grow up.”

I’m happy to say I followed my dreams.

While I’ve always loved creating art, I decided early on that I wanted to create while pursuing another dream of mine. From 9-5, I get to work as a wildlife biologist. From 5-9, I get to be an artist.

I moved to Oregon from the east coast in 2023. I now spend my days in Central Oregon with my partner, our dogs, ducks, and chickens :)

As you may notice, most of my work is inspired by wildlife and the landscapes they occupy. My career has given me the opportunity to spend my days surrounded by the beautiful critters that inspire my work, and for that I’m extremely grateful.

I’m so thankful to everyone who supports me in this business, and I’m honored that anyone connects with my work.

Every day I am fortunate enough to call myself an artist is a good one. Thank you for helping me do so.

All my love,

Mikayla
